A beautiful “Single Fuchsia” showcased against rich tones of luscious greens! Mystery surrounds this delicate pink and purplish flower on the dark background. Painted in oil on a 4″x4″ gallery wrapped box canvas. It comes to you ready to display right out of the box. No need for expensive framing.
Did you know the color Fuchsia came about in 1859 and was first called fuchsine? The color was created by a French chemist named Francois-Emmanuel Verguin. The plant itself was named after the German botanist Leonhart Fuchs in the 16th century. One can just imagine Victorian homes grandly decorated with hanging baskets of Fuchsias!

Please note: the Tamarack Mountain Studio watermark will not be on your painting. This is done for online purposes only. Also, while every effort is made to color correct images, differences in monitors cannot be helped, and the painting may look slightly different, if not better, in real life. Spectral highlights from the gloss varnish may show up on screen as white dots. This is normal and cannot be helped.
